Be the Shift, Part III

by Judy on May 10, 2010

I’ve written two recent blog posts, Be the Shift I & II, suggesting that we’re all compelled towards “mandatory integrity” in our individual and collective lives. It’s as if a glaring light is shining on those systems, beliefs, relationships and habits that don’t serve us and humanity. The bottom line is this: that which needs to be hidden or is out of balance isn’t sustainable. Today I want to continue the conversation by exploring how to view life through a range of perspective, from your heart to the street level and then from godsource point of view.

I hear friends, clients and others explain breakups, job changes, health complications, and the shifts our earth is making using the typical explanations. Yet these stories seem to be really flat. On one hand, there is pressure to go about business as usual. Life is still filled with love, laundry and loss, isn’t it? Yet, it’s as if something significant has changed, but we haven’t quite made the adjustment. I’m struck that a secondary story line that links all of us may contribute to experiencing explanations as being amiss.

happy thinkerI’ve also heard this era referred to as a time of purification. Viewing the events in our life and world from a vantage point of purification or mandatory integrity may provide you with a fuller understanding of how to align with change as it occurs in your life. A break up isn’t just a break up, but an act of alignment and purification.  Same is true of our economy and volcano eruptions.

And while this has always been true, I find it extra comforting and effective strategy as I navigate personal and global shifts.

When approaching a decision consider checking in with your own wisdom at these three vantage points:

  • Your heart, feelings and intuition.
  • The “street level”, physical world or third dimensional level.
  • The godsource perspective, spiritual or 5th dimension level.

At first,  simply gain perspective, check out the view, if you will.  Then delve into the wisdom of each perspective. I find these questions helpful:

  • What emotions and body sensations do I experience at this level?
  • What wisdom does this perspective offer me?  What is matters most to this part of me?
  • How might I integrate these perspectives into this decision so that nothing that matters is sacrificed?
  • And ultimately, “What opportunity to align with my life purpose does this decision bring me?

Understand that while the events in your life are familiar, you’re experiencing them in a brand new evolutionary context. Recognizing that we’re all navigating tender turf can allow you to appreciate the mundane and the extraordinary, the personal and the universal in each day and in each person.  Broadening your perspective allows you to integrate your ever evolving perspective into each and every moment. You get to be present and without sacrifice.

I’m in awe of what is unfolding before us and glad that we get to shift the world together.  Here’s to widening your view!

By the way, I’m excited to be launching the “Be the Shift Summer Academy.” Here are the initial details. I’ll expand upon these this week!
